Armor for my Necro
I made a SS Solo N/Mo and I am wondering what kind of armor do I get for it? And how many Radiant Insignas do I put on it?

Let me also add....I saw a build for this in wiki, which I thought it said your armor should be about no more then 30AL but put lots of Radiant Insignas on. But yet I see some posts states to get the elite armor. I really dont have that much money for an elite armor thats why I am asking is it ok if i can get the 30 armor and put radiant insig on?

Elite armor is the same as normal max armor, only it looks better (usually) and is more expensive. Don't get it.

Insignias are all down to preference. Necros don't need much energy so go 50/50 on the Insignias and runes.
If you want a base it on something i have 55 Energy and 535 Health. (Weapon set included, +5e +30hp on spear, +30hp on focus)
But as i said it's all down to preference & if your running a high energy build, some people like to run around with alot of energy and little health and vice versa

This is why I usually keep my monk/necromancer/mesmer's starter armor for some 55ing. Can save you some money.

55HP solo necro?
I'm asking as none of the replies seem to help if this is the case

Heh i should've read more closely.
Best armor for 55hp is the lowest possible AP.
The lowest that you can buy is 15AP from Ascalon City and 30AP from Lion's Arch.
But the lowest you can get is 5AP, which is your starting armor.
You should have on a set of 55hp armor all radiant insignias and and sup Runes of each attribute and last one of your choice. But don't forget you need the -50 grim cesta from Ascalon city and a 20% enchantments modded sword, axe or spear is good but not needed.

(Actually for a _55 hp_ the real answer is that armor level doesn't matter, but if you want, it's not _wrong_ with max armor because that could save you from one hit if you're sloppy. Now for _600 hp_ you need as low armor rating as you can find.)

Thanks again for the advice everyone. I did make at least up to 30AP and put my insigs on but still my energy is like at 46. When I tried to go out and farm for the first time, it wasnt to bad. I think I just have to get the hang of it.

Hi Jon!

Not all of us want to spend 60k on elite armor, duh!
Anyway if you want more farming tips and help Fuzzy's guide is a good start and not a bad ending. link!
Also Fuzzy uses Spirit bond in a few of his builds. Basically the higher AP you have the less chance Spirit bond will do any healing. Which means you will be making pretty patterns in the grass quite often if your not careful.
